Services

At Next Practice Deakin, we offer a comprehensive range of services to assist you in your healthcare journey.

NDIS Services

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is a powerful initiative that enables Australians with disability to live more independently, participate more fully in community life, and have greater choice and control over their wellbeing. We’re proud to soon be part of that journey.

General Practice

All of the doctors participate in all aspects of general medicine, and believe in a person-centred approach for all patients and families. They strive for a high quality of care in all areas, and work alongside patients to assist them in reaching all their health goals and needs.

Women's Health

Women’s health needs change across life. At Next Practice Deakin, we offer care that is respectful, supportive, and centred on you — whether you have a specific concern or simply want to check in.

What we help with

  • Menstrual and period concerns
  • Contraception advice and options
  • Fertility and pre-pregnancy planning
  • Pregnancy and post-birth care
  • Menopause and hormonal changes
  • Cervical screening and routine women’s health checks

Men's Health

We believe in the importance of men’s health, and we support a range of doctors who specialise in the treatment of men’s health issues such as mental health, reproductive and sexual health, prostate screening and all other areas of general medicine. Book an appointment with Dr Orwa, Dr Tang or Nurse Practitioner Dora.

Children’s Care

Children grow and change quickly. At Next Practice Deakin, we support children and their families with gentle, thoughtful, and focused care; from newborns through to adolescence.

What we help with

  • General health checks and developmental reviews
  • Childhood illnesses and infections
  • Growth, feeding, and sleep concerns
  • Immunisations and catch-up schedules
  • Asthma, eczema, and allergies
  • Behaviour, learning, and emotional wellbeing
  • School and daycare medical forms

Mental Health

The doctors here recognise the importance in mental health care, especially in today’s society. All of them are trained in managing all mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders and more. These appointments are for patients of all ages, and are offered by both male and female doctors. The GPs offer bulk billing for Mental Health Care Plans for existing patients.
