Health Minister visits Next Practice Deakin

Delighted the NPD team were able to host a visit from Hon Mark Butler MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care @Mark_Butler_MP and @heartfoundation for the launch of the country’s new #CVD risk guideline and calculator.

The Heart Foundation on behalf of the Australian Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance (ACDPA) developed an updated guideline and accompanying tools on the prevention of cardiovascular disease. The Hon Mark Butler, Health and Aged Care Minister launched the guidelines today at Next Practice Deakin. During the visit, Next Practice Deakin Co-founder, Director and Principal demonstrated the online cardiovascular risk tool to the Minister.

The AMS Symptom Score Card is a short questionnaire designed to help you and your doctor understand the severity and impact of your menopause or perimenopause symptoms.
