Skin Health and Procedures

Your skin matters. At Next Practice Deakin, we help you check, treat, and care for your skin in a calm, safe, and supportive way.

More about our skin care services

Your skin is your body’s largest organ, and changes in the skin are common — especially in Australia, where sun exposure is part of everyday life.

People often come to see us because they’ve noticed:

  • A new spot
  • A mole that has changed colour, size, or shape
  • A sore that won’t heal
  • A lesion that bleeds, itches, or feels different

Others come simply for reassurance — to check that everything looks okay. During your appointment, we take time to look carefully, explain what we see, and talk through the next steps. If a spot needs treatment, many minor procedures can be done safely in the practice. If further care is needed, we help organise this and stay involved.

We aim to make skin care:

  • Easy to understand
  • Unhurried and respectful
  • Focused on your comfort and peace of mind

If something on your skin doesn’t feel right — or if it’s been a while since your last check — booking an appointment is a simple first step. Our team is here to help.
