About Me
Born and raised in Canberra, Dr Manraj Johal is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centred care to the community that has always been home. After completing his medical degree at the University of New South Wales, he gained broad experience working in surgery, emergency medicine, general medicine and rehabilitation before pursuing his passion for General Practice.
Giving back to the Canberra community has always been an important part of Dr Johal's life. Over the years, he has volunteered with OzHarvest's Yellow Van, Y.engage, Lifeline Canberra Bookfair, Hartley Hall, the Heart Foundation Door Knock Appeal, Black Mountain School, and community service projects supporting disadvantaged Indigenous communities. These experiences have reinforced his belief that healthcare is about listening, showing empathy, and building lasting relationships with patients and their families.
Dr Johal enjoys caring for patients of all ages and believes in providing holistic, evidence-based care that focuses on prevention, education and helping people achieve their long-term health goals.
