Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Maya is now Canberra-based and studying a double degree in economics and design at the Australian National University. Having experienced school in both England and Australia, and successfully completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Maya has a hunger for meeting new people and learning new things.
NextAid, with its care-for-care purpose, resonates with Maya’s core values. She believes it to be a generous gesture in the step towards a globally equitable healthcare system.
Maya has an appreciation for the world of arts; specifically piano, music, fashion, graphics and dance. Being surrounded by family and friends, both at home and when travelling, is something she also cherishes.
